It’s the desire of every classroom teacher to offer quality education to every learner in her class.But why is it that
we often fail to attain this goal? An analysis was done by an educator on why the attainment of quality education is still a failure and one of the reasons is the teachers problem on Classroom Management.
At the very start of the year, teachers need to know the importance of managing the classroom. She needs to set
some rules and policies that children will follow so that orderliness will be observed in the class.Encouraging leadership in the class will also help in the flow of the activities in the classroom and assigning each pupil to do their own work is vital so as to attain an effective teaching-learning situation. Children must also be oriented on some guidelines in school so that they will have clearer views on what and what not to do in the school. During PTA meetings it’s also important to address classroom situations and rules among the parents for unity and support.
Above all these, love must be the main ingredient in imposing discipline among the learners to ensure effective class-room management.
